Recently, a client contacted AP3 to photograph an amazing 18th century brick structure. Namely the Newcomb-Brown Estate in Dutchess County NY.
Newcomb–Brown Estate
What a magnificent piece of property which holds the main home and a number of out buildings on 33 acres of land. Built in 1760 by Sarah Tobias Newcomb, the site reveals a finely manicured landscaping with its own pond. According to sources closely affiliated with the property, it has flown both the American and British flags. While it is a historic site and landmark, the Newcomb-Brown Estate is not open to the public since it is privately owned. However, I am honored to have been chosen to experience the history and feel of this historic home and grounds by preserving its moment in time by photographing it.
